Back with another set of useful new features.

You can now edit specific parts of a Monsha-generated resource using AI Rewrite, generate exemplars and answer keys from existing assignments, and plan your teaching by scheduling lessons and units on a course calendar.

You can also share resources with other teachers by email or link, similar to how you’d share a Google Doc, and save shared resources to your own account so they can be reused and adapted.

Read below for details, and try everything in your Monsha account.

📅 Course calendars for lessons and units

You can now assign dates to lessons and units and see your course plan on a calendar.

Lessons can be scheduled on one or more specific dates, and units can span across a continuous date range. Once assigned, dates show up everywhere the lesson or unit appears, including tables, individual pages, and calendar views.

Each course now has a Calendar tab where you can view, move, and adjust lessons and units using drag-and-drop or date pickers. There’s also an account-level calendar that brings together lessons and units across all courses, with filters for courses and grades.

You can optionally sync Monsha calendars with Google Calendar. Lessons and units are created as calendar events, and future changes in Monsha stay in sync with Google Calendar.

📝 New tool: Exemplar & Answer Key

You can now generate exemplars and answer keys for assignments, worksheets, and assessments.

Upload an existing assignment or question bank, and Monsha will generate model responses, answer keys, or both, based on your preference and what makes sense for each task. This works well when you need a quick reference for marking or a clear example to show students what a strong response looks like.

You can also use this with assessments created inside Monsha. Select an existing worksheet, quiz, or assignment as a reference, and generate exemplars or answers without re-uploading anything.

The output can be exported as PDF, DOC, or other formats, and shared with students or fellow teachers.

✍️ AI Rewrite inside the editor

You can now rewrite any part of a resource directly inside the Monsha editor using AI.

Just select a portion of text and click AI Rewrite from the editor toolbar. This opens a command panel where you can choose from common rewrite actions or type your own custom instruction. The AI rewrites only the selected text and shows suggested changes, which you can approve, reject, or retry.

You can improve writing, simplify language, fix spelling and grammar, make text shorter or longer, change tone, emojify, translate to any supported language, or give a completely custom prompt. This makes it easy to refine or tweak specific sections without regenerating everything.

You can still re-generate the entire resource by chatting with it as usual. AI Rewrite is meant for quick, targeted edits when you don’t want to redo the whole resource.

🔗 Share a resource with other teachers

You can now share any Monsha resource directly with other teachers without exporting files or copying content around.

For any resource, click Share to get a shareable link or send it via email. You can add multiple email addresses and include an optional message, and recipients will receive the resource link straight in their inbox.

But what happens when a resource is shared? 👇🏼

📥 Save a shared resource to your account

When a Monsha resource is shared with someone, they can save it to their own account.

If the teacher is logged in, opening the shared resource shows a Save to My Resources option. This creates a copy that they fully own, allowing them to edit, expand, export, or use it in lessons just like any other resource they created in Monsha.

If the teacher is not logged in, they can still view the shared resource and then sign in or create an account to save it.

Once saved, the resource appears in My Resources and can be managed like any other resource.
