Excited to share some of the latest Monsha updates!

We’ve introduced a new AI image generator built exclusively for teachers. Plus, you can create different teaching resources from any image, internal or external.

We’ve also added 14 new curriculum standards to our library, including IB and UK curriculums. And Monsha resources are now shareable via public links.

Watch the video above or read the details below. And try these features in your Monsha account.

🚀 Image-based resource creation from external and handwritten images

You’ve always been able to upload files to create worksheets, lesson plans, and presentations in Monsha. Now, you can upload images too! Monsha will extract text from screenshots, infographics, teaching materials, or even handwritten notes and turn them into resources. If it’s got clearly readable text, Monsha can read it.

🚀 AI image generator for teachers

You can generate copyright-free, classroom-ready AI images for slides, worksheets, and other teaching materials. With little to zero prompt, you can use any source material or describe your topic, set image attributes (purpose, style, elements, etc.), and export it in PNG, JPEG, or WEBP. You can also iterate and create more resources based on the images.

We use OpenAI's DALL-E model, but heavily prompt-engineered and optimized for teachers' workflows and needs.

🚀 Public sharing of Monsha resources

Sharing resources is now as easy as clicking a button. You’ll get a link that anyone can view without needing to log in. Convenient for sharing with your colleagues or students.

✨ 14 new curriculum standards

In addition to CCSS and NGSS, we have added the following set of standards to our library:

  1. International Baccalaureate (IB)

  2. Cambridge Curriculum

  3. Edexcel

  4. UK National Curriculum

  5. Australian Curriculum Version 9.0

  6. College and Career Readiness

  7. Pennsylvania Department of Education

  8. Key Stage 3 Science National Curriculum (UK)

  9. Oxford, Cambridge and RSA

  10. English Language Proficiency (ELP) Standards

  11. ISTE

  12. K12 Inc.

  13. Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education

  14. National Association for Gifted Children

You can align your Monsha resources by selecting strands, expectations, or objectives from these standards. If your standard isn’t listed, you can still input it manually.

Next up: US state-specific standards. Anything else?

✨ Embedded images and links in Monsha resources

You can now embed links and external images in Monsha-generated resources while editing. This is part of our effort to expand customization options for your materials before exporting them. We’re working on bringing support for mathematical and scientific expressions.
